What is Runtime?
Runtime lets your whole team ship safely with any coding agent. It gives your team the harnesses, sandboxes, context, and visibility to go from idea to PR or deployment, with any model, on any infra.
Can I try Runtime before upgrading?
Yes, the Free tier gives you a session with your choice of coding agent, no credit card required.
What's the difference between Base and Standard sandboxes?
Every session runs in its own isolated cloud sandbox. Base sandboxes (Free) have 4 vCPUs and 4 GB of RAM. Standard sandboxes (Builder and above) have 8 vCPUs and 8 GB, which makes a real difference for larger projects and heavier builds. Enterprise can go up to 32 GB of RAM.
What are environment templates?
Import any repo and set up a replica of your environments once. Our agents handle the setup for you, even for monorepos and microservices. No Docker or Terraform needed.
What is BYOK (bring your own keys)?
You can plug in your own API keys for AI providers like Anthropic or OpenAI. You manage your own usage and billing directly with the provider, and Runtime handles the orchestration.
Can I switch plans at any time?
Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade whenever you want. Changes take effect on your next billing cycle.
What coding agents are supported?
Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, Gemini, GitHub Copilot, and more. Runtime is agent-agnostic, so you can swap between agents freely or run different agents for different teams.
What are spend controls?
Admins on Teams and Enterprise can set cost limits per session, per day, or per month for each user. You can choose whether limits just warn users or block them outright.
